This is true! Out of about 30 Canadian mates/people I knew that I let try vegemite from about 1998 to 2000, about 28 of them spat it out! Two said it was OK and kept eating it! One Vancouver mate wanted to fight me as he thought I was trying to poison him. He didn't think it was food! Seriously!

Wow! Aussie Josh Bartel the star Tiger-Cats punter will be the 1st Aussie ever to play in a CFL Grey Cup! I'm thus barracking for the Tiger-Cats this Sunday. I like many Tiger-Cat fans as well. Note, I'm 99.9% sure Josh will be the 1st Aussie to play in a Grey cup unless there is some Aussie from along time ago that played CFL and in a Grey Cup.

I just heard the forecast for Saturday in Regina is minus 20 and maybe a bit warmer on Grey Cup Sunday. Wow! I don't think Josh has ever played footy in that cold a weather. I guess he'll be outdoors practising more than other Tiger-Cat players this week in Regina getting used to punting in this type of cold. I'm very confident he will have a great game punting.

Josh was telling me today that they have popped 7 balls so far in 2 days, saying it was even to cold for the balls.

Josh punted well in the Grey Cup. He had 9 punts for a 39.4 yard average and 355 total yards. His longest being 46 yards. The Rider punter R Schmitt had a average of 35.1 yards. I'm sure it was an amazing experience for Josh yesterday and all week in Regina.
