The Saskatchewan Roughriders rank among the top professional sports brands in Canada.  In 2016 the Riders led the league in home and away attendance, TV Ratings, merchandise sales and Social Media Engagement. The Riders are a core piece of the overall culture and community within the province, with a recognizable brand that reaches from coast to coast, and often travels internationally. In June of 2017 the Riders will open a new $278M stadium.  The new Mosaic Stadium will be the premier outdoor sports facility in Canada and home to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Rider Nation.

The Senior Manager, Digital Media will be tasked with expanding both reach and engagement with Rider fans, locally, nationally and internationally. This role will work with cross functional teams in football operations, media relations, marketing, community outreach, retail and corporate partnerships to build out a programing, production and distribution strategy and tactical plan that support brand growth strategies and the objectives of the organization. The Senior Manager will lead a team of in-house staff and external resources covering all forms of digital media expertise.

The Senior Manager, Digital Media will bring significant hands-on experience in video production, editing and distribution and a minimum of 7 years’ experience leading a digital media team. A strong understanding of social media platforms and knowledge and passion for the sport is a must, as is superior strategic thinking, leadership, creative and communications skills. Deep appreciation and understanding of brand concepts and market segmentation will be key attributes as well.
