Steady, True42. Steady.
Resigned or fired under the guise of resigning?

Seeing what is going on there ... I assume he caught wind that they were going to let him go "whenever" and he beat them to the punch.
Now I have not followed CFL stuff so closely ... are all the guys being fired not people Hall hired? Or is he stealthly purging all the guys he doesn't want.

I'm as steady as I can be. Everything is speculative. I suspect he felt he needed to resign and I also think he would have been fired eventually because he's not Hall's guy. Clearing out the old, as it were. My main complaint, as I've posted on other sites, is not so much what they're doing but how they are doing it. People are meaner than they need to be.

This was definitely a resignation rather than a firing. With that said, there has been publicized information that suggests that Kep may not have been an ideal fit with some of the people around him.
He wasn't really a guy that was subject to a lot of evaluation from myself, and I suspect from much of the fanbase. He was Danny Ray Freakin' Kepley, and he was our linebackers coach... always Kepley first... always will be Kepley first.
He was a loyalist to his close friend Danny Maciocia, and I suspect that when Maciocia was fired, he was faced with the reality that things weren't likely to be changing in terms of the people around him, so he was left with continuing with status quo, or being the change.
Very sad to see him go and concerning to me that it might be a sign of deeper issues in the organization. Hope that he lands on his feet and I wish him the best of luck going forward.

The TSN coverage last game was interesting. On and on the panel kept talking up about the upgrade/impact at LB coach the Eskimos had.

Eh, what do they know? Panel is delusional. Nelson may have had an slight impact on the team but not sure if he's an upgrade.
Lets see, decorated Schenley award winning linebacker turned coach or backup short career, no sniff at awards linebacker turned coach?
I took the comments with a grain of salt.
Happy to have Nelson aboard at any rate.
